• Business logic in middle tier - Since the business logic is in middle tier, the application is not tied to run on any particular database. This application can run on MS SQL Server.

Supporting features:

• Test Look and Feel - Each test can have its own logo, background image, or background color. For example, a Microsoft test can use a Microsoft logo while an Oracle test can use the Oracle background image.
• Subject Look and Feel - Each subject can have its own background image, background color, and foreground color. For example, a question related to electronics can use a circuit board as the background image and a biology question can use an image of a plant as the background image.
• Exhaustive Reports - Customized reports can be created in HTML, CSV, Microsoft Excel, or txt with a graphical/matrix report engine.
  

Existing features:

• User registration - A user can directly register his/her details in the application. However, only the application administrator can set the new user as active.
• Hyperlink to subject - Each question can have links to a subject. The links relate to a specific subject matter. For the actual tests, the link is not displayed to the user.
• Multi-lingual support - Red Inq can author questions in any language, breaking the barrier of just one language. Apart from data, the buttons, menu, and application messages also appear in the defined language.
